Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC), in Jordan, Minnesota, is locally owned and controlled be the members we serve. As a non-profit cooperative, we sell electricity at cost and are committed to providing service beyond expectations. MVEC supplies power to approximately 46,000 members in nine southern Minnesota counties.
Company History
Incorporated in 1937, MVEC's service area now covers 986 square-miles including some of the fastest growing counties in the nation. A wide variety of accounts are served - farmers, rural and suburban residential areas and large commercial and industrial accounts.
